LAURA CARELLA is an artist born and raised in Canada coming from Italian heritage. Her artistic practice is rooted in dance with layers of filmmaking, acting, healing and existing as a human being present. She graduated from SUNY Purchase with a BFA in Dance and minor in Arts Management. She has worked and performed with The YC and Perfume Genius on their collaboration The Sun Still Burns Here. Laura is a Dance Church® lead teacher as well as a teacher and choreographer of her own work.
