TABITHA STEGER is a movement performer and educator rooted in Seattle for 8 years from the Twin Cities. Over their dance education and career they’ve performed works by noted artists/companies: Annika Johannsen, Leila Awadallah, Nora Chipaumire, TU Dance, KT Niehoff, tinypistol, Sidra Bell, and Madeleine Gregor. In 2023, in the wake of its permanent closure, Tabitha grabbed an opportunity to create a pop-up dinner dance performance, Of the Seasons, for the historic and beloved London Plane. Of the Seasons solidified Tabitha’s love for site specific work, endlessly being inspired by the spaces in which we inhabit while using it as a tool to bring dance into new spaces and communities where it does not often exist. Tabitha continues researching spaces and environments, and our relationship to them.
