LAND acknowledgment

We acknowledge that we are on the unceded ancestral lands of the Duwamish people, the original stewards of this land. We are guests here. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish people that are still here, continuing to honor and bring to light their ancient heritage. Donate to the Duwamish tribe here.

FROM THE PRODUCERS

Thank you for joining us this evening at our third iteration of CO-PRESENTS, CO-’s residency and performance platform. Tonight, you’re seeing a split-bill evening from SHOW10’s PITH - a duo made up of Alissa Pegram and Caroline Maxwell, and Carlin Kramer from SHOW2. Maybe you met Carlin’s “Tanc” in March 2022, who came to life through jangling clanking metals, stealing our hearts through highly-physical durational efforts and triumphantly overcoming something we couldn’t name, but could all feel. More recently, maybe you met PITH in June 2025 - insect-like, precise, intricate, and whimsical - the mesmerizing magic of two bodies as one. Both Carlin and PITH possess the ability to transform themselves as performers into something otherworldly. Perhaps that’s the TRICK - they give themselves to their art so fully that they go somewhere else - and they don’t forget to take us with them. It’s freeing to escape this realm for a moment as we experience theirs, and we hope you enjoy the journey as much as we have.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Alissa and Caroline met in 2021 performing for a local cabaret with not a clue about the other. From there, PITH was born.

The love-child of two dizzy dreamers. PITH, delves into the realms of erotic freedom, bizarre impulses, and individual yearnings.

CARLIN KRAMER is a Seattle-based dance artist, teacher, improviser, and performer whose work spans contemporary dance, improvisation, nightlife, and theatrical performance. After completing the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program in 2015, Carlin performed with YC2 for three seasons before joining Jody Kuehner’s (Cherdonna Shinatra) company DONNA in 2018. In 2019, she began teaching Dance Church® and co-founded the performance duo OVERKILL, which has since created and presented work at On the Boards, Kremwerk, XO Seattle, and other underground spaces. In 2023, Carlin performed in a three-hour durational piece with Emma Wheeler (OVERKILL), Lavinia Vago, and Heather Kravas, and in 2024 collaborated on FKK, a hypermedia immersive performance by Lavinia Vago at the Georgetown Steam Plant through Velocity’s Made in Seattle program. Carlin is currently developing her first full length-solo work, set to premier in 2026.
